Customer Champion Lead & Trainer

The Lead Customer Champion & Trainer will manage a team who will be responsible for the first line customer interaction. The Channels will include, web, chat, email, telephony, social media, face to face (reception), and post. This role will take principle responsibility for training colleagues on the delivery of ICAS Products and Services. This role will drive the most significant improvement from a Customer perspective. The role will be empowered to be the Voice of the Customer.

The team will respond to questions from all stakeholder groups on a "first response" basis. This will involve building and maintain a system based knowledge base to allow effective advice to be given on first contact. The role will work with Marketing and Membership to ensure that the Brand is being accurately reflected and service levels are meeting the needs of the ICAS stakeholders.

The role has a significant data analysis responsibility to ensure ICAS drives improvement based on direct Customer feedback. The job holder will be responsible for achieving excellent customer service and developing cohesion between Channels and Products.

Digital Marketing Executive

Full Time; Permanent

We are excited to recruit for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Marketing & Insight team. The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of content on the ICAS website and other existing and new digital channels. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all content is fit for purpose, relevant and customer focused. This role acts as the 'guardian' of content on all ICAS digital channels. This role is also accountable for the implementation of ICAS' email roll-out plans. The Digital Marketing Executive will also work collaboratively across all ICAS divisions and is responsible for ensuring that our digital content is continually updated based on customer needs.

Ideally you will hold the following attributes:

  • Be a confident, driven and dynamic individual with experience of working in a Marketing or Content team.
  • A solid knowledge and understanding of digital marketing
  • Experience in managing email platforms and sound knowledge of databases and how to maximise email performance and ideally, a knowledge of email marketing automation.
  • Good understanding of SEO and how to optimise content for digital.
  • A strong track record in planning and executing marketing campaigns from beginning to end.
  • An understanding of customer segmentation, and the value of data and insight.
  • Good understanding of customer journey mapping.
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to influence change and take people with you.
  • An excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in communicating with members of staff at all levels, both internally and externally.

The successful candidate is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of content on the website, content management and the robust management of digital channels. This role will operate as part of a small but highly focused digital marketing team, sitting within the Marketing & Insight team. The role is also accountable for ICAS' email plans and will act as the interface with Dot Digital, therefore, a strong understanding of email platforms and 'test & learn' is key.

The key responsibilities for this role will include:​

  • Supporting the Senior Digital Marketing Manager in delivering ICAS' digital marketing strategy. This role has a core focus on website content, however, it will also span across other digital channels, particularly email.
  • Developing and implementing a contact strategy for email communication and engagement for the email automation platform (DotDigital) to manage the volume of emails sent while increasing the quality of emails.
  • Supporting the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to develop and manage a marketing automation test programme. Use analytics and insight to refine learnings.
  • Working  closely and collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to ensure the ICAS' digital marketing strategy is fully embedded in all areas of the business. Be an ambassador for Digital within ICAS.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of content on the ICAS website and other digital channels. Ensure a customer first mindset in relation to digital content is embedded across ICAS.
  • Content management of content on the ICAS website and other digital channels, in line with ICAS brand, tone of voice and SEO guidelines.
  • Managing workflow and providing technical support to ICAS colleagues for digital channels.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving the effectiveness of ICAS content and secure buy-in to any changes in approach. Working closely and collaboratively across ICAS to roll-out a new way of content workflow management.​
  • Working closely and collaboratively with wider team to ensure that the relevant MI and reporting is in place to recommend improvements to performance. Ongoing Marketing effectiveness reporting is key.
  • Direct involvement in other digital development activities including user experience, channel development, interactive and responsive design projects and innovation and insight work.
  • Using Insight to identify and understand audience needs to create engaging, compelling and relevant content to support marketing activity across digital channels.
  • Within the Marketing & Insight team, developing digital customer journey maps for target audiences, highlighting key engagement touch points and identifying opportunities for increasing engagement and conversion.
  • Becoming a brand champion and ensure that all content on ICAS.com and other digital channels is in line with the ICAS brand guidelines.

Practice Monitoring Reviewer

We are excited to recruit a CA with a general practice background to join our Audit & Practice Monitoring team as a Practice Monitoring Reviewer.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and professional individual, who thrives in a dynamic team environment. Ideally, you will hold the following attributes:

  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (required) and IFRS (desirable)

This role aims to promote best practice and to maintain and enhance standards within accountancy practice. The incumbent will be responsible for checking that firms are conducting work properly, with integrity, and upholding the required professional standards. The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Conducting practice monitoring visits to firms throughout the year, which involve conducting opening/closing meetings, reviews of files and financial statements, reviews of other engagement files; writing reports; and working to prompt deadlines.
  • Liaise and advise the ICAS Authorisation Committee in relation to visits undertaken
  • Engagement with oversight regulators
  • Working with the team in updating monitoring procedures and assisting with writing technical material.
  • Conduct contract work in the UK, and overseas, as required.

HR Assistant

The HR Assistant position is a pivotal role within the HR team and absolutely vital to their success. This key role will be responsible for all administrative support across HR processes and practices. They will also be accountable for accurate and timely administration for reporting, reward & recognition, learning & development, recruitment, finance requests and maintaining HR IT systems.

Requirements

  • Strong administrative background with previous experience supporting a team.

Head of operations

The Head of Operations will be a key member of the Customer Experience Leadership Team. The job holder will be responsible for all aspects of delivering an excellent Customer Experience across all ICAS channels. With primary focus on the customer needs.

Working with the Head of Digital and Channels Manager to deliver modern experiences meeting the needs of Members, Students and Firms. In addition, working with the Executive Team to ensure service levels are being adhered to and strategic direction is set.

Career Development Manager

The Professional Development team within the ICAS Member Engagement & Comms Centre has an exciting remit to design and pilot new career development solutions and learning activities for our members. The role is specifically responsible for creating and delivering the provision of careers education, information, advice, guidance and development activities for members of ICAS.

The Career Development Manager will serve as an adviser, planner, coordinator and collaborator and will have autonomy to build and develop the ICAS provision of Career Development products and services for CAs, in accordance with the overall ICAS vision and framework for Professional Development.

Requirements

  • Strong background in Learning & Development and Career Guidance.
  • A relevant qualification in Career Guidance and Development or Career Coaching is essential.

Regulatory Authorisations Manager

We are excited to recruit for a Regulatory Authorisations Manager to join our Standards team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and professional individual, who thrives in a dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the approval process relating to regulatory authorisations granted by ICAS, in accordance with applicable legislation, rules, regulations and guidance, and the presentation of relevant applications to the ICAS Authorisation Committee for its consideration and approval

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all regulatory authorisation processes are in line with best practice, working with other ICAS staff and teams to deliver continuous improvement and reform
  • Presenting relevant applications to the Authorisation Committee for consideration
  • Providing governance support to the Authorisation Committee
  • Keeping up to date on all internal and external developments relevant to regulatory authorisations, reflecting on their impact for ICAS and reporting to the Director, or Executive Director as required
  • Collation of data, statistical and management information relating to regulatory authorisations, and reporting to the Authorisation Committee, or to the Regulation board and internal/external stakeholders as required by the Director or Executive Director.
  • Advising the Director or Executive Director on policy matters relevant to regulatory authorisations.
  • Engaging with external stakeholders on regulatory matters, as agreed with the Director, or Executive Director.
  • Effective and timely completion of regulatory policy projects.
  • Dealing effectively with regulators (monitored via annual inspections).

Lean Agile Coach

Summary

The Lean Agile Coach will be a key member of the Operations Team. The job holder will be responsible for driving adoption of Lean Agile methods across Projects and BAU activities within ICAS.

The role will be a driver of change focused on supporting individuals and teams to identify opportunities for improvement from a Customer perspective.  The job holder will conduct workshops and training to achieve excellence in the usage and adoption of Technology.  The job holder will work with delivery teams and internal communications to support colleagues through change. There is a emphasis on process, regulatory requirements, quality, data management, culture within this role.

In addition, the job holder will be consistently looking for opportunities to improve the process to improve lead times and service levels. Therefore, there will be a strong alignment to the Digital team.

Examinations Secretary

Summary

The role will support the internal examiners and Examination Panels and Boards at TC, TPS, TPE, EPA and Public Trust & Ethics, in paper timetabling, preparation and quality control. The post holder will organise all Exam Panel and Board meetings, including collating agenda papers and preparing minutes.

  • Organise the timetable and meeting schedule for all ICAS examination board and panel meetings.
  • Prepare all ICAS examinations to an agreed format, managing others where appropriate , and deliver these to CX for printing to an agreed timetable.
  • Keep under review ICAS examination regulations and their application and communication.
  • Draft reports to the Education Committee and Qualifications Board , and other governance points as required on examination matters, including results and KPIs.
  • Construct agendas for all ICAS examination panel and board meetings through working with examination teams and CX.
  • Approve papers submitted to examination board and panel agendas , and where appropriate take steps to ensure that these are complete, accurate and consistent.
  • Keep a minuted record of all meetings of ICAS Examination Boards and Panels.
